Personal Background

WORK HISTORY

I grew up in upstate NY, then moved to Denver, CO shortly after college, where I spent the next 20 years. I moved to Winston-Salem, NC in 2022. After getting a Bachelor's in Psychology, I wasn't really sure what I could or wanted to do with that degree. For awhile I was in the corporate world in Human Resources. I also worked in market research toward the end of grad school. I loved parts of both of those jobs, but working in a full-time office setting just wasn't for me.

A backpacking trip to Europe in my mid 20s solidified my decision to take a different path. I saw that Europeans worked to live, rather than lived to work, and I was delighted to see that there were other ways of moving through the world than I was accustomed to. The rest of my 20s and early 30s I worked in the service industry, and I also decided to go back to school for Counseling Psychology. While in school I worked in a partial hospitalization program with eating disorders. I knew right away that I wanted to go into private practice, and after a year internship in private practice, I went off on my own in 2014.

Since 2014, I have worked with couples, individuals, and groups navigate a variety of life transitions, anxiety, stress, strengthening their relationships with themselves and others, with career coaching, connecting to their intuition on a deeper level, communicate with their allies, guides, ancestors, and loved ones on the other side, and healing from religious trauma, among other things. I have found that combining metaphysical tools (Tarot, Shamanic journeying, mediumship, etc) with coaching has allowed clients see their issues from a different perspective and receive clarity on next steps forward in a deeper way. They have also been able to confront their shadows in a less threatening way, which has allowed them to become more aware of their patterns to be able to transform them.

MY SPIRITUAL PATH

I was raised Catholic, and went to Catholic school through 6th grade. I have always been a deeply spiritual person, but Catholicism never felt like the right fit for me. In my teens I started questioning my faith and felt a bit lost spiritually all through my 20s. I knew I was searching for something, but I wasn't sure for what...

My journey actually started with mindfulness practice in my internship, where I was encouraged to just sit with my body, my emotions, and my environment without changing anything, and having radical acceptance. In 2014 when I graduated, I was on a quest to explore my spirituality further, and joined several meetups, classes, and workshops where I met several mentors who helped me get clear on my beliefs and practices. Now I describe my spirituality as integrative and eclectic, with borrowing practices from Buddhism, Shamanism, Spiritualism, Paganism, and Wicca. I'm very connected to nature, animals, and the cycles of the seasons and the moon.


MY CLIENTS

My clients are ready to make some changes in their lives, get unstuck from patterns that no longer serve them, and strengthen their relationship with themselves, others, and Spirit for greater fulfillment. They are looking for more balance between their mind, body, and Spirit. They are open to utilizing Spirit and their own intuition to make more intentional choices that are in alignment with their purpose. They are not afraid of looking at those parts of themselves that they keep hidden and protected, but that keep them small. They are ready for deeper connection, contentment, and safety in their lives.

I work primarily with people online via secure video, but I do offer walk and talk coaching sessions and in office appointments in the Winston-Salem NC area. I also facilitate group events such as a Shamanic journey circle, mediumship and meditation group events, and other workshops for greater insight and healing.

In addition to these official credentials, I have taken many advanced classes in mediumship, psychic development, Shamanism and Tarot, as well as continuing education for my therapy licenses. I also studied Wicca and how to create rituals with a coven in CO, and was a part of a monthly Shamanic journey circle for about 4 years in CO. I continue to seek out opportunities to hone my skills, grow my gifts, and evolve along my own spiritual path.
